This is one product I highly recommend (and bought as gift) to all my friends and family.
We had one and used it daily for 8 years and it just stopped working (I think it's the fuse malfunctioning).

A true workhorse, February 24, 2012 This review is from: Braun WK210 Cordless Kettle 1.6 lt. 220 Volt - WILL NOT WORK IN THE USA (Electronics) We are very pleased with Braun's quick heating kettle. It is sturdy, almost noiseless and gets water boiling in less than a minute. The only minor irritation is that the area through which the water has to be poured into the kettle is a bit narrow and split and sometimes, if you are not watching, the water from the faucet may spill over the kettle.
